When COVID hit the world, at the time, I was just starting to go outside again.

Agoraphobic for 4 years, I no longer left my house.

So when the health crisis appeared, and we were all confined, the world seemed to me outrageously ok, because it was a joke, and nothing but a joke.

Summer 2021, France, after more than a year of pandemic, after 3 lockdowns, and good stuff (…) as soon as we were finally able to travel again, I improvised a solitary expedition.

I wanted to bear witness to a new world, the one that would now replace the one we once knew. I took a tent, and my Yashica 124 G Mat, et voilà !

I traveled more than 210km. From La Grande-Motte to Cerbère, I covered the whole west coast of Golf du Lion, visiting its most famous seaside resorts.

It’s a journey through my mind at an exceptional time. It’s a joyful and warm post-apocalyptic perception of the first summer vacation in this new world. The end of the world has happened, and that's ok.
